We provide counselling and support on a wide range of topics - for example, coming out or experiences of discrimination and violence. We provide information about further offers of help and support. We also offer referrals to our groups and networks.
The advice centre is funded by the Saarland Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Women and Health.
In April 2023, an event on the topic:
"LGBTI-friendly care for the elderly" in care homes and nursing homes. Firstly, a clear explanation was given as to why LGBTI people should be given special consideration and why discrimination against them in old age can be countered. In the following presentations, retirement and nursing homes from Dortmund, Cologne and Frankfurt were introduced. What does non-discriminatory behaviour and everyday life look like in reality, not just on paper? There were many practical tips.
