We offer you the opportunity to talk to me, Andreas, in confidence. We can discuss your situation and your concerns and work together on individual solutions for your situation. In cooperation with Schwulenberatung Berlin, we can arrange an appointment on site.

As I offer this support on a voluntary basis, free of charge and in my free time, we need to arrange a date together.
For urgent matters, please contact a suitable advice centre. You can find an overview of the advice centres in our care radar 🔗 .

I can plan about 30 - 45 minutes for a conversation.

The counselling sessions take place alternately every 3rd Wednesday of the month at Lebensort Vielfalt am Südkreuz (Berlin) and at Lebensort Vielfalt (Berlin) in Niebuhrstr.

To book a personal appointment, please send us a message.

Our reference to LGBTIQ+

My name is Andreas (pronoun: he/she) and I live with my husband in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. I have been working as an employed care counsellor for several years. In this job, I get to know many people who are either in need of care themselves, care for relatives or work in the care sector. Once you get to know each other better and more personally, people often tell me how difficult it is to navigate the world of care as a queer person. It's not always the overt discrimination that gets to people, but the unspoken, the feeling of not being able to be 100 % the way you feel and are, even in such a difficult situation. This should no longer be the case, which is why I want to use this platform to try and create a contact point for all queer people in care. Where you can find advice, community and help from people who have a connection to LGBTIQ+.
Are there any costs for the counselling?
