Introduction

Dear friends, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Folsom Europe e.V. very much. Folsom Europe e.V. is not only known for organising impressive and captivating events in the LGBTIQ* scene, but is also highly committed to supporting social projects. Folsom Europe is the most important event of the leather and fetish scene in Europe, which takes place annually in Berlin. Inspired by the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, this street festival is more than just a celebration of diversity and freedom - it is a fundamental support for the entire LGBTIQ* community.

Thanks to Folsom Europe e.V.

I would like to thank Folsom Europe e.V. from the bottom of my heart. This non-profit association not only organises impressive fetish events for the LGBTI community, but is also passionately committed to supporting social projects.

Contribution to the community

Folsom Europe, inspired by the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, is the most important leather and fetish event in Europe and takes place annually in Berlin. This street festival is more than just a celebration of diversity and freedom - it supports the entire LGBTI community in a fundamental way.

Support from Folsom Europe

Since its foundation in 2003, Folsom Europe has not only organised a fascinating festival for the community, but also actively supports charitable causes. The donations, this year the considerable sum of 66,000 euros, are channelled into HIV/AIDS prevention and care projects. The order of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence from Berlin (OSPI Berlin) plays a central role in fundraising as a member of the association.

Support for Queer-Pflege.de

At Queer-Pflege.de we are extremely grateful for the 600 Euro support from Folsom Europe e.V. This donation enables us to expand our services and give more people access to care and support services. We can now print and distribute information material.

Honouring the donors

Our thanks go to the entire organisation, all members and donors! We look forward to continuing this valuable support and doing good for the queer community.

Record donations and their distribution

Since 2004, visitors have donated a total of 400,000 euros at the entrance. In 2023, 66,000 euros were collected, 50% more than in 2022 - a new record!

Benefited organisations 2023

The association distributes the donations annually to charitable organisations that support people with HIV/AIDS. All interested parties can apply to the board for funding. This unique concept in the fetish community owes its success to the generous fans and supporters.

Andreas from Queer Care
My name is Andreas and I live and work in Berlin. As a care counsellor, I get to know many people who are either in need of care themselves, care for relatives or work in the care sector. People often tell me how difficult it is to navigate the world of care as a queer person. With my experience as a social insurance employee, I help queer people in care on a voluntary basis to find information and support.
