The network coordinators of the ALTERnatives in rubicon organize offers with and for lesbians, gays and trans people 50+. We also network at city level with other actors who work with or come into contact with people over 50. In this way, we support lesbian, gay and trans people over 50 and create visibility for our issues across the city.

rubicon e. V. offers advice, health promotion and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter* and queer people and groups. Almost 30 employees work in the rubicon team on issues of gender and sexual diversity.
With expertise in the areas of anti-violence work, migration, age, family and school, rubicon e. V. is a reliable address for anti-discrimination work in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Networking plays a central role in how rubicon e. V. sees itself. In Cologne, our networks are committed to senior citizens, rainbow families and people with a history of immigration. In the city working group for lesbians, gays and transgender people, we are involved in shaping modern local politics.
