For us, the close exchange and a sustainable network of queer and straight allies support services are in the foreground, through which we grow together. The collaboration in reliable cooperations is an important building block to be well positioned in the care landscape. Here you can find information about our current cooperation partners, whom we have known for many years and with whom we successfully work together.
Gay counseling Berlin
Specialized unit: AGE & CARE
Thanks to the vast experience of the specialized office, they can address many issues that older gay and bisexual men face. They support them in experiencing a fulfilled and self-confident aging. They are also familiar with topics such as coming out, sexuality in old age and poverty in old age. Regular exchange and participation in various online and discussion formats characterize our collaboration. We keep each other informed and update our offers.
The Gay Counseling Berlin awards the quality seal Lebensort Vielfalt® to care facilities and outpatient care services nationwide that are particularly sensitive to LGBTI*. These facilities are particularly committed to the protection of LGBTI* and against discrimination. This certification is also recognized on queer care as an outstanding qualification.
Aids-Help Hamburg-Project Dietrich-
We are happy about the cooperation with the Aidshilfe Hamburg and the visiting project "Dietrich". The project focuses on leisure activities for older gay men, which is a perfect complement to older gay men in need of care.
In this process, the volunteers, including LGBTIQ and heterosexual people, offer qualified activities accompanied by an experienced psychologist. This collaboration allows us to mutually benefit from our expertise and experience.
Together, we are committed to effecting positive change and promoting the well-being of our community. We look forward to further deepening this collaboration and achieving our common goals.
Aidshilfe NRW
We are very excited about the collaboration between Queer-Pflege.de and Aidshilfe Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V.. This collaboration is emblematic of the merging of two important movements in the LGBTIQ+ community: the care and support of older queer people and the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS.
Queer-Pflege.de, as the leading portal for queer care in Germany, has made it our mission to ensure that queer people receive the best possible support in old age or when they need care. We understand the unique challenges queer people face in care settings, from isolation to discrimination, and are committed to addressing these challenges.
Aidshilfe Nordrhein-Westfalen is a pioneer in HIV/AIDS prevention and support, and its commitment has helped thousands of people live with, learn about and fight the disease. Their expertise is invaluable to our community.
Through this collaboration, we aim to bridge the gap between caring for older queer people and supporting HIV-positive people.
By combining our strengths and experience, we can respond even more effectively to the needs of our community. This collaboration is a strong sign that solidarity and cooperation are at the heart of our movement and that we are stronger together.
